Dr. Claudia Buser spent her childhood in Pflugerville, Texas. After graduation, she attended Concordia Lutheran University on a basketball scholarship. She received her dual degree, with honors, in Secondary Education and Environmental Science in Optometry, graduating Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1999.

While attending the University of Houston, she completed three internships and received specialized training in neuro-optometry, contact lens, and ocular disease. During her senior year, Dr. Buser entered the 9th annual Student Case Report Challenge, a nation wide contest for 3rd and 4th year students. She was awarded second place and her 'Recurrent Active Ocular Toxoplasmosis' case study was published in the March issue of 'Review of Optometry.'

Dr. Buser is a member of the Texas Optometry and the American Optometric Associations. She is licensed by the Texas Optometry Board as a Therapeutic Optometrist and Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. Prior to opening Forest Creek Eye Center in July of 2005, Dr. Buser practiced for six years in Georgetown

Dr. Buser is married with one daughter and son. In addition to the continual enhancement of her knowledge, Dr. Buser enjoys traveling, antique shopping, collecting old playing marbles, reading and sports related activities with her husband and now adult children.
